Pacific Highway through Wyong Town Centre Upgrade
The Australian Government and NSW Government are investing $420 million to upgrade the Pacific Highway through the Wyong Town Centre. The upgrade is to improve traffic flow, travel times and safety for all road users.
Transport for NSW is working in collaboration with Central Coast Council to build a new car park on the corner of Ithome Street and Rose Street, to alleviate parking constraints during construction of the Wyong Town Centre project.
Transport has engaged North Shore Paving Co Pty Ltd to complete the work.
Work includes:
• Establishing a temporary work site
• Locating existing underground services
• Using machinery for earthworks and construction
• Installing a new drainage system
• Construction of new pavement and kerbs
• Installing new line marking and signage
• Restoration of site upon completion.
Work is expected to be completed in around 6 months, weather permitting.
Site establishment at the corner of Ithome Street and Rose Street will commence from Thursday 19 March, weather permitting.
Main construction work is expected to commence from Monday 23 March. Working hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
