Tuggerah Railway Station Update - DELIVERED
The new lifts, concourse and public rest rooms are now open to the public.
The NSW Government and Transport for NSW have completed the upgrades at Tuggerah Train Station.
What work was completed?
Work carried out includes:
• new pedestrian footbridge, lifts and stairs connecting the Pacific Highway, commuter carpark, and station platforms
• upgraded power feeds
• family accessible, male, and female ambulant toilets
• widened platforms for improved customer accessibility
• upgraded station entrances with new landscaping and bicycle hoops
• upgraded accessible parking spaces in the commuter car park
• enhanced bus stops and kiss-and-ride spaces
• improved CCTV, lighting, communication systems and wayfinding signage
• new and upgraded footpaths, along with local Aboriginal artwork.
Key Facts During March 2025:
- 9,807 workers worked on the project
- 132,436 hours were worked on the project
- 1,000m3 of concrete was poured
- Approximately 100 tonnes of steel was used
